Simple&Cheap MAGLOOP building part one 

(Without promoting any Chinese economy!) for +/- 15 Euro's (or even less) , You can build a simple but working remote control unit 

(YEZZ ….there will be a lot more sophisticated & better "tools" to control remotely ur Magloop variable capacitor, but this works too hi )

brief intro: 

- LCD indicates only the "steps" (so the position of the shaft ) of the very very cheap 1/64 intern reduction steppermotor - ( with help of Arduino and Jean-Marie ON7EN :the steppermotor will turn ONLY 180° ie from min capacity to max capacity and back to minimum in two speeds (high or low )

-When the coupling between steppermotor and variable capacitor is made "tight" (extra drop of "secondsglue") there will be no backlash and no need for any "feedback" of the capacitor shaft πosition 

All You have to do:

-Make sure the Display indicates "-1" and set the capacitor at max capacity (fully meshed) and You are"in business" pse have a look at the picture: everything found at B*nggood

You need some extras : to attach the var.capacitor to the ends of the LOOP: of course :a variable capacitor + a few pieces of simple hardware; -my favorite way of "building" is to use double sided pcb
